Great website, I dont suppose you have the form i can download for appealing a JSA sanction for non attendance even though I called them and told them my son was sick.

Hi Jamie, yes the same happened to me after a seizure. I had to get a sanction formal appeal to the job centre, make sure you fill this and also email the JCP manager and cc your local MP. THis is a total discrace. People on poverty have enough trying to survive, the stress alone can make you ill. Other ailments on top can make life hell. Dont stand for this. Unfortunately if you dont do the exact above procedure JCP will do nothing and refuse the sanction. Unfortunately extream measures need to be put into play now. If we all do this the system will have to be revised and end this fascistic draconian crap. I hope JCP descision makers will enjoy a tase of there own when then loose there jobs (which they will) the plan has been set.

CAN SOMEBODY GET AVANTA OFF MY BACK PLEASE
First of all, the job centre treat job seekers like in-mates. As far as their staff are concerned, if you are a job seeker, you are in prison, you have committed a crime and should be punished for it. They look down on you, degrade you, humiliate you, punish you for a crime only them know. They threaten you all in the name of sanctions. They give you warnings when its not even applicable. If you are late by 3-5 minutes, you are punished for it. Before you go on benefits, you are well, able and health and in your right mind. After the ill and sickening treatment, you are suicidal, confused, mentally disturbed, anti-social, depressed, stressed and a zombie. You are in prison, where they will be killing softly. Because of how the government and their staff treat you, you start to deteriorate both in health and mind, you loose the worthy of living. They just control your life to the maximum. Everyday becomes a nightmare. They treat you like you are in mental institution.
I really feel for people who are still on benefits, no-one know what you are going through, outside people think you are living an easy life, they don’t know that you are living under government abuse from job centre and the private companies that they refer you to for further institutional abuse. People on benefits suffer silently. You just become a ghost, you loose your mind and you become the government’s property, you become insane, you cease to belong to yourself, they say jump, you must jump, they say bark, you must bark!. Its very disturbing, I have gone through it. And when you most want the job and get it over and done with job centre, there isn’t one, no-one wants to employ you once you mention you are on benefits. Every channel closes the door behind you. There is no job for you whatsoever, until you remove the job centre history on your CV, which is impossible down right.
I relocated for a better chance of getting a job. In my new location the job centre referred me to Avanta, but I got a job for myself through referral from a friend of a friend, of a friend!. So I signed off at job centre and decided not to even have anything to do with Avanta. I was happy that I am now free from all the nightmares of being on benefits and all the abuse that comes about with it, but guess what I was wrong, Avanta demands that I go over to see them and even if they didn’t get me the job. They demand that I give them the details of the employer etc and they say I don’t have a choice, its the law that they should follow me up at work and get in-touch with the employer. As I see it, Avanta wants to be paid for a job they didn’t do. I hear the government pay them a certain amount for every placement they make. Why should I give any details of my job to Avanta if they didn’t get this job for me, I had this job lined up before I relocated and mostly it was my reason for relocation. When I relocated I had some jobs lined up and I pursued these jobs like hell. Two came out and i had to make a choice and I got the well paying one, and now Avanta wants all the credit. So they continue their institutional abuse on me. They said I need to go and sign off with them. I told them I there is nothing to sign off, since I never started with them.
Now instead of being happy on my new job, I am so devastated and am not at peace. I get letters and letters and letters and threats that I am breaking the law if I don’t go and see them. All I want is to be left alone and I don’t want my employer to be contacted now and then, least I start getting labelled at work. Avanta will follow you up at work as if you are a vulnerable person working. HOW DO I GET THEM OFF MY BACK. SOMEBODY HELP! I am 45 years old and the only years i was not working in my life is two years. I didn’t loose my experience and skills which Avanta thinks. I still got all intact. Now I am afraid that because of this harassment and bullying from Avanta, it will disturb my job. WHAT DO THEY WANT, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM?

what law do they say your breaking? did you sign the inital data consent form?if you did withdraw your consent now its your right.Change your phone number and by a good shredder.If you are now fully employed tell em to piss off.
